The committee reviews financial and administrative matters on a regular basis, and takes strategic decisions concerning both the running of the pub business, and the management of the society. The management committee is responsible for the strategic direction of the Ivy House. You can read about current members of the committee here.
Committee meetings currently take place roughly once every 6 weeks, supplemented by regular email correspondence and some ad hoc attendance on the premises as required.
We would like to hear from individuals who can participate fully in committee meetings and correspondence discussions, and contribute to ongoing administrative and strategic tasks.
Members of the management committee must also be members of the society (shareholders in the pub); however, our share offer is currently open so it will be possible for suitable candidates who are not already shareholders to buy shares before taking up their seat on the committee.
